Water Treatment Team Leader

Our client, a recognized leader in environmental engineering, is seeking a Water Treatment Team Leader to contribute to the delivery of large-scale industrial and mining projects.

In this role, you will act as both a team leader and a technical expert, participating in the design and optimization of water treatment systems while supporting the growth and development of your team.

Responsibilities

Leadership

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of professionals;
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and talent development initiatives;
• Monitor employee performance and support professional growth;
• Contribute to resource planning and project assignment allocation.

Technical and Project Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and optimization of water treatment plants;
• Oversee and coordinate engineering activities;
• Perform or validate engineering calculations, studies and technical deliverables;
• Participate in commissioning activities and project follow-up;
• Collaborate closely with clients and partners to ensure successful project execution.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process, mechanical or civil engineering, with a specialization or significant experience in water treatment;
• Experience managing or supervising technical teams;
• Strong understanding of industrial or mining water treatment processes;
• Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal abilities;
• Availability for occasional travel.
