Solutions Specialist – AVEVA PI

Our client is a well-established provider of industrial software solutions, supporting manufacturing organizations in optimizing operations and advancing their digital transformation initiatives.

As part of its growth, the organization is seeking a Solutions Specialist – AVEVA PI to support project delivery across Quebec and Ontario.

Your role

As part of a project team, you will contribute to the implementation of industrial technology solutions, from requirements analysis through to deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Configuring and deploying AVEVA PI solutions
• Supporting system integration and data connectivity
• Troubleshooting and optimizing existing environments
• Contributing to full project delivery

Key responsibilities

Technical delivery

• Install, configure, and support:
  • PI Server and Asset Framework (AF)
  • AVEVA System Platform components (App Server, Historian)
  • InTouch / OMI interfaces
  • Industrial connectivity solutions
• Implement data integrations between plant systems and enterprise analytics platforms
• Translate business requirements into technical configurations
• Perform system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Document configurations and deployment processes

Client collaboration

• Participate in bilingual (French/English) meetings and workshops
• Support requirements gathering and scope clarification
• Collaborate with senior team members on solution design
• Provide technical support during project execution

Professional development

• Expand expertise in AVEVA technologies
• Contribute to knowledge sharing
• Grow toward increased autonomy and responsibility

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
• Bilingual (French/English) – required
• 2–4 years of experience with AVEVA PI and/or AVEVA System Platform
• Experience with Windows Server environments
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings

Assets

• Professional engineering designation (P.Eng. or equivalent eligibility)
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC, MQTT, Modbus)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience deploying software solutions in manufacturing environments

Location:

• Position can be based in Quebec or Ontario
• Hybrid / remote work model
• Travel to client sites required (up to approximately 50%)
