We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to join our client’s team of analysts responsible for the support, enhancement, and implementation of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution. The role is primarily focused on the Finance and Project modules and actively contributes to business process optimization and value creation for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and analyze business needs for the Finance and Projects domains; document target processes and requirements.
- Perform gap analyses, recommend solutions, and secure stakeholder alignment.
- Produce high-quality deliverables: functional specifications, business rules, process documentation, scenarios, test cases, and user guides.
- Support system configuration and oversee customization requests, including acceptance criteria, functional validation, and impact management.
- Plan and execute UAT activities, manage defects (triage, prioritization, follow-up), and support production releases.
- Contribute to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) implementations across multiple subsidiaries.
- Provide Level 2/3 support: diagnosis, resolution, communication, and prevention of recurring issues.
- Contribute to continuous optimization initiatives: standardization, controls, operational efficiency, data quality, and user adoption.
- Administer and monitor D365 licenses: assignment, role-based adjustments, usage tracking, and cost optimization recommendations.
- Manage D365 F&O security: design and maintenance of roles, duties, and privileges; segregation of duties (SoD) as required.
- Manage access requests: user creation and management, environment-based access, periodic access reviews, onboarding and offboarding processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis or ERP functional roles, with significant experience in D365 F&O implementation and support.
- Strong expertise in Finance and Project processes (depending on context: accounting cycles, budget tracking, project costs/revenues, billing, etc.).
- Experience with D365 F&O license management and security (roles, access, governance).
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, excellent documentation rigor, and sound prioritization abilities.
- Clear communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts and engage stakeholders; strong team player.
- Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written).
Proficiency in French and English
