Our client, a Quebec-based company recognized for its technical expertise and innovative approach, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer who wishes to contribute to the design and execution of diverse projects across Quebec and Canada.

This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who wants to play an active role in developing technical solutions, participate in the design of complex structures, and collaborate closely with structural, construction, and operations teams.

A Role That Goes Beyond Traditional Geotechnical Engineering

You will contribute to commercial, industrial, and residential projects where design, analysis, and the overall behavior of structures are central to engineering decisions.

Work on projects where geotechnical and structural considerations must be analyzed together to develop efficient, safe, and site-adapted solutions. You will also contribute to innovative projects involving emerging construction methods and the evolution of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and sizing of technical solutions;
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyses;
  • Assess interactions between structures and their surrounding environment;
  • Prepare and review technical documentation;
  • Collaborate with structural, operations, and construction teams;
  • Provide technical support to clients and business partners;
  • Conduct site visits and technical validations;
  • Participate in solving complex technical challenges;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering methods and tools.

Profile Sought

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
  • Experience in geotechnical engineering, design, or infrastructure engineering;
  • Strong interest in structural design and analysis;
  • Good understanding of soil behavior and soil-structure interaction;
  • Strong analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach;
  • Ability to work both in the field and in an office environment.
