Electrical Works Supervisor

Your Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a director or electrical engineer, you will be required to:

• Analyze and interpret plans and specifications from various disciplines (architecture, structure, mechanical, civil engineering, electrical);
• Review shop drawings and technical specifications, and follow up on approvals and acceptances;
• Compare technical documents to work completed on-site and provide necessary clarifications to contractors;
• Monitor the work and prepare reports in accordance with standards;
• Formulate recommendations regarding work acceptance and follow up with stakeholders;
• Propose solutions to technical problems encountered and monitor their implementation;
• Manage change requests and negotiate prices with contractors;
• Participate in site meetings, monitor schedules, and prepare minutes when required;

Desired Profile:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in building electrical work;
• Good knowledge of the Electrical Code and the Building Code;
• Excellent command of spoken and written French;
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications (architecture, structure, civil engineering, mechanical engineering);
• Team spirit and report writing skills;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
• Versatility, autonomy, strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Vehicle and valid driver’s license (travel within the Greater Montreal area).

• Offices located in Longueuil or Laval (free parking)
• Teleworking possible
