Our client, a company recognized for its expertise in water treatment for the mining and industrial sectors, is seeking a Chief Laboratory Technician to join its sustainable solutions-oriented team.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in conducting laboratory and field tests, supervising pilot tests, and producing technical reports, in collaboration with experienced specialists (chemists, engineers, and technicians).

Your Main Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate laboratory tests and pilot tests in water treatment
• Ensure the management, order, and maintenance of the laboratory
• Collect sampling at client sites and on-site
• Write clear and structured technical reports
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of treatment processes
• Support and train field operators, as needed

Desired Profile

• College diploma or AEC in chemistry, environment, water management, or a related field
• Experience in water treatment or in a laboratory (mining or industrial environment: an asset)
• Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail
• Good communication skills in French and English
• Driver’s license Valid driver’s license required
