What You Will Do:

Under the supervision of a director or mechanical engineer, you will actively participate in:

• Analyzing and interpreting plans and specifications from various disciplines (architecture, structure, mechanical, civil engineering, electrical);
• Monitoring work progress and writing progress reports;
• Reviewing technical documents and proposing solutions to problems encountered;
• Managing change requests and negotiating prices with contractors;
• Participating in site meetings and ensuring adherence to schedules;
• Collaborating on all other related tasks.

Your Profile:

• AEC or DEC in building mechanics or equivalent training;
• 5 to 7 years of experience in building mechanics;
• Good command of spoken and written French;
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications (architecture, structure, civil engineering, electricity);
• Team spirit and report writing skills;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
• Versatility, autonomy, strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Vehicle and valid driver’s license (travel within the Greater Montreal area).

Location:

• Offices located in Longueuil or Laval (free parking)
• Teleworking possible
