Warehouse Manager

Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee center activities: receiving, warehousing, order preparation, shipping, inventory.
• Ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.
• Optimize human and material resources to maximize productivity.
• Supervise supervisors and unionized teams (day/evening): recruitment, training, evaluation, disciplinary management.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
• Train employees on processes and the safe use of equipment.
• Monitor KPIs: quality, costs, deadlines, inventory accuracy.
• Implement monitoring tools and continuous improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Manage budgets and produce management reports.
• Participate in internal committees and strategic decisions.
• Maintain fluid communication with teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure logistical consistency.

Required Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in administration, logistics, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a unionized environment.
• Motivational leadership, organizational rigor, and results-oriented.
• Proficiency in WMS systems, Excel, and management tools.
• Bilingualism (French/English) required to interact with teams and partners across Canada.
• Experience in change management and continuous improvement (Six Sigma an asset).
