Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller who will combine accounting expertise, strategic vision, and analytical skills to support management in its decisions and optimize the financial processes of our production sites.

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will be responsible for the complete management of the site’s financial activities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Accounting and Compliance.
• Ensuring the rigorous maintenance of monthly and annual accounting.
• Producing financial statements and management reports.
• Supervising and coaching the two accounting resources (payables and receivables) and fostering their skill development within the team.
• Managing the accounting aspects of group plans and tax obligations.
• Maintaining an effective internal control system.
• Financial analysis and operational support.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses.
• Monitor production costs and margins.
• Implement relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide financial analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Participate in external audits and year-end closings.
• Optimize and continuously improve.
• Review and improve accounting and administrative processes.
• Contribute to the development of the ERP system and the documentation of practices.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at financial efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or administration.
• CPA designation (an asset).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including some in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent skills in financial analysis, budget modeling, and performance management.
• Collaborative leadership, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a changing environment.
• Proficiency with IT tools (advanced Excel, ERP, accounting software).
• Bilingualism (French/English) required.
