Application Specialist

Job Description :

We are looking for a motivated and qualified Application Specialist to join our client’s team. The incumbent will play a key role in providing technical support to sales and working closely with the engineering department to ensure customer satisfaction and the achievement of sales objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support and assist customers or sales teams on complex technical questions or specific product configurations.
• Analyze customer tender documentation and synthesize technical requirements.
• Design and prepare technical drawings according to customer needs.
• Participate in the preparation of technical documents and presentations to support the sales team.
• Represent the sales team in project kick-off meetings.
• Communicate with subcontractors as needed to prepare bids.
• Carry out related mandates as needed.

Qualifications :

• University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent command of SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM and Microsoft Office (Draftsight and Autocad).
• In-depth technical knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical concepts.
• Basic knowledge of concepts and standards in pneumatic and electrical industrial automation.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of the labeling industry (an asset).
• Excellent command of English and French, both orally and in writing.
